Pursuing a career change, Charlotte obtained a diploma from the KLC School of Design, graduating with distinction.

Immediately after, she went to work for the French luxury fashion house, Hermès, as part of a small team running their UK Home and Interiors department. Whilst there, she worked on residential projects for private clients, supplying furniture, fabric, lighting and facilitating bespoke commissions.

Wanting to diversify her design experience, Charlotte left to work for Henrietta Spencer-Churchill at Woodstock Designs. During her time there she was fortunate enough to work on some magnificent private residences, notable estates and assist in the rolling redecoration program of the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough’s private apartments at Blenheim Palace.

Leaving to establish her own practice, Charlotte Elizabeth Design Ltd was founded in 2016, with the aim to provide her clients with a personal, friendly and flexible design service.
